“O sing to the Lord a new song,
For He has done wonderful things,
His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.
The Lord has made known His salvation;
He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.”
Psalm 98:1-2 (NASB)
We throw the name ‘JESUS’ around without really knowing how or where the spelling and pronunciation came from…
To make a long description short for your reading…Jesus is a translation from language to language…that derived from its original and non erroneous form…YESHUA
Lets look at this passage…what you will see may astound you!!!
We know that Jesus is written of to be sitting at the RIGHT HAND of God and that HE has GIVEN VICTORY to the Father! So verse 1 alludes to Jesus as the prophesied and personified victory to come.
Yet, look at verse 2…and the two word phrase ‘HIS SALVATION”
First, who’s salvation? well…God the Father’s!
But what, you may ask, is the DIRECT TRANSLATION OF THIS PHRASE IN THE HEBREW LANGUAGE???
HIS SALVATION is one word in Hebrew (reference number 3444 in the Strong’s Concordance)
YESHUA!!! That is right! ‘His Salvation” should be actually written…YESHUA
Jesus (as some call Him today) is NOT His name…it is Yeshua…and He is spoken of BY MANE all over the Old Testament! “HIS SALVATION”
